Our Team

DAOM STAFF

Marina Croft is the teacher/director/owner of DAOM. Marina has been dancing for more than 30 years. She has been teaching the steps and choreographies for folkloric dance groups for more than 14 years.


Jesus Sanchez is an Instructor. Jesus has been a dancer for more than 30 years. He has been working with us since September 2014.


Karina Torres is the Assistant Director. She was a former student of us, and has been a dancer for 8 years. She has been working with us since January 2018.


Itzel Nunez is an Instructor. Itzel is a Dance Major student at UW-Milwaukee. She has been dancing and working with us since 2011.


James Croft is our Office Administrator. He has been working and supporting DAOM since its set up in 2010.


Benjamin Croft is an Assistant Instructor. He is Marina's son and has been drumming and dancing since he was 2-years-old.

Participated in a dynamic ballet folklorico performing throughout the US, Puerto Rico and Europe. Taught and managed 28 adult dancers and conducted basic administrative operations.


Ballet Folklorico ITESM – Raices and Pulsar
Dancer – January 1997 – May 1999 – Monterrey, NL Mexico

Participated in dance festivals in Monterrey, Mexico; and two dance tours in countries such as Germany, Belgium, and Netherlands during the summer of 1997.


Ballet Folklorico Huaxtecapan
Dancer – September 1983 to May 1994 – Tampico, Tam Mexico
Studied and Participated in dance festivals and local performances.
